Gelato is the common word in Italian for all kinds of ice-cream. And when you say all kinds, Milano Icecream or Milano Gelato does have all kinds.
Tucked away around the corner, in the ground floor of a mall, this place is easy to miss. In an encapsulation of white walls, sits the myriad colors of frozen delights. An unassuming place that seemingly invites you for ice-cream, it has also got a galactic variety of Italian desserts.
And if frozen things are not your thing, then there are cozy coffees to make you feel warm as well.
We took 10 mins to acclimatize ourselves with the sheer delicacies on display and another 10 mins to crack the pronunciations. However, the staff doesn’t seem to mind, I guess they have gotten used to people recklessly getting the names wrong.
The outlet is quite inviting and it does not confuse anyone with its layout. At the centre, occupying a rather large portion of the cafe, is enthroned the sweet treasures of Italian descent.
On the extreme left, are catchy paw-sicles (popsicles) and a plethora of ice-cream sandwiches.

Popsicles!
The ice-cream is quite a ravishing affair. From don-vito, malaga, rose to lemon, avocado chocolate , the flavours are fearlessly bold.

The place spoils you and you can’t limit yourself to one dessert, especially when the kitchen keeps refilling the adorable pastries.

When it gets too complicated to choose, one can always resort to coffee.
An exceptional combination was ordered by my friend – An Espresso and an Orange cake. When it comes to an elevation, what can highlight coffee better than orange ?

When you do not know simply how much to order, Milano’s standard ordering type – cup or cone/2 or 3 flavours rescue you. We, ofcourse, ordered a multitude of flavours!

Cup 1 : Lemon Shortbet & Wildberry , Cup 2: Don-vito & Dream 5 in 1
Choose a comfortable spot inside the cafe to keep getting tempted or sit outside to tempt others!
Milano Ice-cream is a great place to relish and relax, and indeed we got lucky as a favourable weather of light rains accompanied us on a lazy sunday!
